ODE Insulation will be the largest manufacturer of elastomeric rubber foam between China and Germany
ODE Insulation, Turkey's largest insulation company with 100 percent local capital, pressed the button for a 15 Million USD investment in R-Flex elastomeric rubber foam thermal insulation products. With the advent of the new manufacturing plant to be set on 20 thousand sqm of indoor space on the grounds of the manufacturing campus in Eskişehir, ODE Insulation will quadruple its elastomeric rubber foam capacity and become the largest manufacturer in the region between China and Germany. Mr. Orhan Turan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ODE Insulation said they would provide employment for 150 people in the new manufacturing facility and continued, "In our new facility we will make use of the latest technology to manufacture and export all value-added products groups under the elastomeric rubber foam heading and continue to contribute to our country's economy."
ODE Insulation, a leading brand in the insulation sector in Turkey and in over 75 countries on six continents to where it exports its products, continues to make investments toward reaching its objectives despite the conditions arising from the global pandemic. Having made substantial investments in plant modernization, capacity increase, digital transformation, and R&D in the previous year, ODE Insulation has taken action on a huge 15 Million USD investment. ODE will establish a new manufacturing facility located in Eskişehir Organized Industrial Zone in order to increase capacity in R-Flex elastomeric rubber foam thermal insulation production. The plant is scheduled to be commissioned by the end of 2021 and 150 people will be employed.

Mr. Orhan Turan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ODE Insulation, while providing information about the new investment said, "Despite the difficult conditions arising from the global pandemic, as ODE Insulation, we continue to move ahead with our planned investments this year as we did the last year. With this facility we will quadruple our capacity in the elastomeric rubber foam products and we will achieve a capacity of 18 thousand tons/year in total. This investment will not only bring us to a capacity that equals twice the size of the Turkish elastomeric rubber foam market, but also will strengthen our leadership position that we have been holding in this product group since 1991. With this investment we will rank as the largest manufacturer of the elastomeric rubber foam products in the region between China and Germany. These are very significant developments not only for ODE, but also for the growth and development of the sector."
"We are focusing on value added production"
Mr. Orhan Turan states that they will focus on developing value-added products in their new manufacturing plant that will employ 150 people, and says, "We are focusing on developing value-added products with our R&D division located in our Eskişehir manufacturing facility. By using state-of-the-art technology in our new facility, we will be capable of manufacturing and exporting all value added product groups in elastomeric rubber foam. In this way, we will significantly raise the share of exports in our turnover from the current level of 40 percent, and continue to contribute to our country's economy."

Mr. Orhan Turan underlined the fact that ODE Insulation ranks in the top three players in Europe in the field of HVAC insulation and commented, "'With our new investment and capacity increase we will strengthen our position in Europe and in other markets. Elastomeric rubber foam production will continue in two cities simultaneously
Until now, ODE Insulation manufactured R-Flex elastomeric rubber foam thermal insulation materials only at its facilities in Tekirdağ-Çorlu. With this new investment in Eskişehir, production in this product group will continue in both cities.
