
Dinçer Çelik, a graduate of Hacettepe University's Department of Chemical Engineering, began his career in 1981 at Sümerbank's textile facilities, working on textile chemistry processes and machine renewal projects. Between 1984 and 1997, he served at Kordsa as a technical service engineer, holding positions such as chief responsible for customer and product development, technical manager, and industrial fabrics factory manager.
In 1997, he became the general manager at NileKordsa, and after the Dupont partnership, he was appointed as the general manager and regional president of Kordsa North America in 2005. He worked with responsibility for three companies in Tennessee and North Carolina. In 2007, he was appointed as the general manager and regional president for Kordsa's newly established region in the Far East, overseeing the management of companies in three countries with headquarters in Indonesia.
Starting in 2009, he served as the vice president responsible for Kordsa's operations in 11 operations across 9 countries. In late 2010, he was appointed as the general manager responsible for operations at Temsa Global. After a restructuring of business units in early 2013, he became the general manager of Temsa Otobüs. He retired from the Sabancı Group in early 2018, continued to contribute to innovation as an academic, and provided consultancy services in management and organization. For the past two years, he has been serving as an Independent Board Member at ODE Yalıtım.
