Attention should be paid to the application temperature, the application should be done between +5 0C and +35 0C. It should not be applied under rain or in situations where precipitation may occur. The application should be made on the part of the structure that comes into contact with water, and attention should be paid to the drying times in applications between primers and coats. It should be taken into account that the drying time may also be prolonged, as the curing time will increase in cold weather. The materials used can be cleaned with water and solvent based thinner. Application
Before the application, the surface must be free of residues such as mold oil, cement residue and loose parts that prevent adhesion; It must be clean, smooth, sound and not exposed to frost. Mix the mixture at 400-600 rpm with the help of a medium speed mixer. should be mixed rapidly until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. The application surface should be primed with EPİKON PRIMER EXTRA or EPİKON Bitumen Polyurethane solvent-free bitumen primer and the application should be started after the primer is completely dry. The primer should be allowed to dry and then the actual application should be started. Consumption should be 0.25 kg/m² on average. At least 2 coats should be applied to the prepared surface with a brush, trowel or spray. After the first coat is applied, it must be completely dry for the second coat application. The second floor should be made perpendicular to the first floor. Foundation excavation should not be closed until complete drying. Filling should be done after the coating is protected with appropriate thermal insulation and drainage boards. It should not be applied when it is raining or in situations where it is likely to rain. It should be protected from frost, sun and strong wind for the first 24 hours after the application. The application should be made on the part of the structure that comes into contact with water. Since
the curing of the material will be slower in cold weather, it should be ensured that the first layer is completely dry before applying the second layer.
