ODE Bitüm Emülsiyon Astar is applied to the surface according to the ODE Bituminous Emulsion Primer specification. Before starting the membrane application, the primer should be allowed to dry for 1 day at 15-20°C, and in colder weather, it is recommended to wait for 2 days for the primer to dry. Application should not be performed at temperatures below +5°C and in rainy conditions.
ODE RUBIN waterproofing membrane is applied starting from the lowest elevation, perpendicular to the slope, on terraces or sloping roofs. The membrane is overlapped by 15 cm in length and 10 cm in width, and it is adhered only at the joints or by the full bonding method, as recommended in the details, using a propane torch. In areas where the use of a propane torch is not feasible or in situations requiring precautions against wind loads, it is applied using mechanical fastening. After the first layer covers the entire surface with staggered longitudinal joints, the second layer should be applied with staggered transverse and longitudinal joints, aligning them with the midpoint of the first layer's joints.
