Oğuz Haluk Solak, a graduate of Middle East Technical University's Department of Business Administration, started his professional career as an inspector at Türkiye İş Bankası. After serving as Assistant Manager and Group Manager in the Bank's Accounting Department, he became the Director of Financial Affairs. Later, he served as the CFO at Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik A.Ş. and the President of the Inspection Board at Türkiye Şişe ve Cam Fabrikaları A.Ş. He also worked at Doğa Şehircilik for a period.

Solak has served as an Auditor at Kredi Kayıt Bürosu A.Ş. and Türkiye İş Bankası A.Ş. Employees' Pension Fund. He has been a member of the Board of Directors at İş Merkezleri Yönetim ve İletişim A.Ş., Kule A.Ş., and Milli Reasürans Türk A.Ş. He held the position of Chairman of the Accounting Working Group at the Turkish Banks Association and was a member of the Life/Pension Finance Accounting Examination Research Committee at the Association of Turkish Insurance and Reinsurance Companies.

Since 1995, Solak has been actively involved in various professional chambers, unions, and associations. He served as the General President of TİBAŞ-İş Bankalılar Derneği, an association with approximately 11,500 members, for about 15 years.

He is a Certified Public Accountant, Public Oversight Authority Independent Auditor, and Real Estate Appraisal expert. For the past 3 years, he has been serving as an Independent Board Member at ODE Yalıtım Sanayi ve Tic. A.Ş.
