
Tuğrul Baran, born in 1973 in Kütahya, completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Kütahya. He pursued his university education at Istanbul Technical University, where he graduated from the Department of Electrical Engineering. Baran has continued his education in Management and Organization at the master's level and Sociology at the undergraduate level.
He began his professional career as an electrical engineer during the establishment period of the tableware glass production facilities owned by the GÜROK Group, operating under the LAV brand. Baran took on various roles in the production and sales departments. From 2012 to 2022, he continued his role as the General Manager of the company. He has actively worked on Quality Management Systems, Production and Maintenance Management, Sales and Marketing Strategies, and held voluntary positions in various industry-related organizations.
Tuğrul Baran has served as the Vice President of the Federation of Sectoral Associations (SEDEFED), a board member of the Turkish Quality Association (KALDER), and has been involved in voluntary work in the Digital Transformation Commission of TURKONFED and the R&D Committee of İMSAD. He is a founding member of the Kütahya Organized Industrial Zone Businessmen's Association (KOSBİAD) and the Victory Industry and Business Federation. At different times, he has been involved in initiatives such as the Glass and Glass Products Sectoral Board of TOBB, the Cooperation Platform of Kütahya Public Industry University (KÜSİ), and the Züccaciyeciler Association. He has been serving as COO since 2022 and manages production and operations.
