ODE started its life in business with contracting activities in 1985 and committed towards the insulation sector in 1998 to address Türkiye's most urgent needs. ODE became a manufacturer in 1996, producing in two main categories: Building and Technical Insulation; and became an importer in 1990. Today, ODE is among the largest manufacturers in the insulation industry with 8 modern production facilities, more than 4 thousand product types and expert personnel.

It produces extruded polystyrene thermal insulation material under the ODE Isıpan brand, polymer bitumen waterproofing membranes under the ODE Membran brand, glass wool used for heat, sound insulation and fire safety under the ODE Starflex brand, and elastomeric rubber foam based installation insulation material under the ODE R-Flex brand.

ODE, which exports to 6 continents, has become the leader of the waterproofing market in Türkiye by further increasing its export capacity after the Eskişehir Production Facility came into operation.
